Kudos to Polyphony Digital for making Gran Turismo 7. The latest installment was well-received by critics and audiences appear to love it.
At least, this was the case before Polyphony doubled down on Gran Turismo 7's microtransactions. But, for all of the racing sim's misfires, surely none is more egregious than having to live through that opening scene over and over again.
Make no mistake, Gran Turismo 7's opening sequence is beautiful. We know of fans who shed a tear when they first heard Moon over the Castle. Unfortunately, this love will turn to disdain almost immediately after finding out you are forced to watch the "unskippable" intro every time you launch the Gran Turismo 7 app. It doesn't help that it's well over five minutes long, and perhaps closer to ten too.
If you're one of those worried about being forced to watch through Gran Turismo 7's intro every single time you load up the game, we've got good news for you - you can disable it after the first time you are forced to watch it (there is no avoiding the first time).
