Developer Highwire Games, together with publisher Victura, have dropped an all-new gameplay trailer for the upcoming tactical shooter, Six Days in Fallujah.
This will serve as the first official Six Days in Fallujah Gameplay trailer after it was revealed that development of the game will resume years after it was canceled due to controversy. Here's Our First Look at Six Days in Fallujah Technically, February's reveal announcement of Six Days in Fallujah came with a bit of gameplay footage. However, it was only a minute or so long at best and we didn't really get to see much of how the game would look from the perspective of the players.
More than a month later, we now have our first glimpse at Six Days in Fallujah gameplay. https://youtu.be/VF0c9SwewpA The first Six Days in Fallujah gameplay trailer swaps between gameplay video with voice-over narration and interviews with Sgt. Jason Kyle, who is a US military veteran that took part in the Second Battle for Fallujah, which the games take a lot of inspiration from.
The entire trailer is nearly six minutes long. During that time, it takes great lengths to talk about what the experience was like when US forces started sweeping Fallujah.
At the same time, the gameplay trailer explains how Victura and Highwire Games have taken great lengths to recreate the harrowing experience of the said battle.
What's perhaps the most interesting aspect about it are the procedurally generated levels. This makes Six Days in Fallujah quite unique for a realistic shooter. But, then again, this decision could also end up playing their favor.
