For most of the 2000s and a part of the 2010s, you couldn't touch J.K. Rowling and the Wizarding World franchise. Then, J.K. Rowling made controversial comments about the transgender community in 2018 and the internet hasn't moved on since.

Because of J.K. Rowling's views, even the series' biggest stars, like Daniel Radcliffe, Ruper Grint, and Emma Watson, as well as Eddie Redmayne, have all spoken out against the author's stance.

Even the upcoming open-world Harry Potter RPG title, Hogwarts Legacy, wanted no part of the internet's beef with J.K. Rowling, albeit it couldn't avoid it since 57-year-old author created the source material.

Now, Sebastian Croft is casting a protective charm over himself and is all but wishing he had a Time-Turner with him.

The Heartstoppers actor recently came under fire after it was revealed that Croft had lent his voice for the protagonist of Hogwarts Legacy. A few days later, the 21-year-old actor came out with a statement voicing his disapproval with the views of J.K. Rowling, saying: II was cast in this project over 3 years ago, back when all Harry Potter was to me, was the magical world I grew up with. This was long before I was aware of JK Rowling's views. I believe whole heartedly that trans women are women and trans men are men.
