Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 have been wildly successful since launch and Activision wants to make sure that it stays that way by providing a constant stream of new content, which includes a second season next month.
Infinity Ward has announced the highly anticipated second season of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2. The developer has teased big things about the upcoming release but fans are disappointed that the second season will start on February 15, two weeks after the scheduled end of Season 1. The first season officially started on November 16, so it will be quite a big gap between seasons.
Season 2 promises big changes and incorporates feedback from the community. The announcement also revealed some of the content that will be included in the next season.
"Our studio teams have been making several changes based on what we have heard from our player community," the announcement reads. "Season 2 includes all new content, with the return of Resurgence and a brand new small map for Warzone 2.0."
