However, cloud gaming services are hoping to offer an alternative. Samsung, in particular, wants to change how gamers play with the Samsung Gaming Hub.
Is the Samsung Gaming Hub a game-changer?
As announced at CES 2022, Samsung is launching a new gaming central hub that combines multiple cloud gaming services like GeForce Now and Google Stadia under one roof. This will make it more convenient for users to access cloud services.
According to Samsung, the tech company plans to launch the service at an undetermined date this year. Once launched, owners of certain smart TVs can access the Samsung Gaming Hub by pressing the "gaming" button. Afterward, players can check out everything from their most recently played video games to the most popular titles as well as access several different cloud gaming services under one universal app.
