Rockstar Games released its best-selling sandbox action-adventure ten years ago. Fans are expecting the studio to pull out all the stops for the tenth anniversary of Grand Theft Auto V - which naturally would finally mean an announcement of GTA 6, but thus far the only thing we know for sure is an Online event.

Rockstar has announced that it will celebrate the upcoming tenth anniversary of GTA 5 with a special event in Grand Theft Auto Online. On the Rockstar Newswire, the studio teased what is in store for players on the anniversary week. Gamers will be getting collectibles, a free car, and other limited-timed loot, which... is a bit underwhelming to be honest.

Next week, look out for a special event that celebrates the 10 year anniversary of Grand Theft Auto V in GTA Online with new collectibles, the ferocious Bravado Hotring Hellfire sports car, and more," Rockstar announced.

GTA Online has been building up to this event for several weeks now. Players have seen consecutive weeks of double money and huge discounts on businesses in the game. GTA Online also featured triple money and XP bonuses on some of the most popular game modes.

While the news about a special event is... something... we guess, most fans of the series have been expecting more from Rockstar. Many gamers are expecting some form of announcement or teaser for Grand Theft Auto 6 as there have been rumors that we may be getting official information about the game soon.
