Before all the awards and accolades, Ridley Scott was just a director who was out to prove himself. After working on the Duellists in 1977, which won Scott the Best Debut Award at the 1977 Cannes Film Festival, Scott went on to top himself even more by releasing Alien and Blade Runner in 1979 and 1982, respectively. The two went on to become one of the most influential sci-fi films of all time, eventually spawning sequels.

Fast forward to a couple of decades later since these fan-favorite movies were released and it appears that Ridley Scott is working on live-action TV shows for both.
