What do you get when you put Deadpool, Black Adam, and Wonderwoman together in a single movie? We don't know, but Red Notice comes close to realizing that hypothetical situation.
The Netflix original movie, which stars Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson alongside Ryan Reynolds and Gal Gadot is one of the biggest productions in Netflix history. With a ginormous budget of $200 million, Netflix better hopes that the film does well. However, Red Notice didn't just do "okay" on the streaming platform - it set the record for the most-watched film in Netflix history, beating 2018's Birdbox.
Red Notice sets new Netflix record in half the time
Bird Box, which starred Sandra Bullock, was the previous record-holder for Netflix with 282,020,000 hours viewed. This roughly translates to around 32,172 years, give or take. What's most impressive about Red Notice's new record is that it didn't need a month to set it. Red Notice already has nearly 130,000,000 hours viewed after it premiered on Netflix on November 15. This means that still has a chance to widen the gap between it and Birdbox for the strongest hourly 28-day debut in Netflix history.
