It's no secret that Rockstar Games is working on a Red Dead Redemption remaster. Take-Two Interactive has hinted at it in its most recent earnings call. Not to mention, it very rarely happens that several leakers come forward with the same details and it turns out to be false. So, for all intents and purposes, we're expecting a re-release of Red Dead Redemption for both of the PlayStation 5 and the Xbox Series S/X within the current fiscal year. But, while we're all itching for more information about John Marston's return to the foray, a series of in-game screenshots claimed to have been taken from the unconfirmed game don't prove anything.

The leaker, u/johnmarstonyc, published his claims on the /r/GamingLeaksAndRumours subreddit saying that the Red Dead Redemption Remaster is coming in Spring 2024 and will include the Undead Nightmare DLC.

For good measure, the leaker included a pair of screenshots presumed to have been taken from inside the game, which, at first glance, would've fooled most of us except that the fanbase isn't so easily fooled.
