It's official: Insomniac Games and Sony are bringing Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart to the PC in July.

One of the first exclusives for the PlayStation 5 to be released, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart received excellent reviews when it came out and was nominated for the GOTY award in 2021. On July 26, PC gamers will be able to enjoy Rift Apart with the complete lineup of PC-exclusive improvements like ultrawide support, unlocked frame rates, and support for several PC-exclusive features like DLSS 3, FSR 2, and Intel XeSSS upscaling.

Other PC-exclusive features that Rift Apart will enjoy include support for multiple aspect ratios (21:9, 32:9, and 48:9) as well as Nvidia's Reflex technology and DLAA (Deep Learning Anti-Aliasing).

Nixxes Software previously hinted that Rift Apart's PC port was in the works in a job listing.

Julian Huijbregs, a community specialist at Nixxes Software, didn't reveal the minimum and recommended hardware specifications for Rift Apart for the PC port in the official announcement. This is particularly noteworthy as Rift Apart was meant to be played on the PS5, which houses proprietary SSD technology.
