Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart is coming to the PC in July

Rift Apart heads to the PC just months after Naughty Dog fumbled the ball on The Last of Us Part 1's PC port. To date, the game still has "Mixed" reviews on Steam but the most recent ones have been labeled as "Mostly Positive.

But, unlike Naughty Dog, Insomniac Games and Nixxes Software have a more solid history of working together on PC ports. Case in point, Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered and Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales encountered minimal issues with the PC launch. While we won't say it with 100% certainty, the PC port of Rift Apart should fare better, especially if Insomniac and Nixxes have found a workaround for the SSD requirement.

Sony previously spoke out about its ambitious release plans for PC ports and mobile games by 2025, solidifying its plans to grow the brand outside of the standard PlayStation platform.

Now that Rift Apart is finally heading to the PC, as per earlier leaks, the next ones up are most likely Ghost of Tsushima and Horizon Forbidden West based on Sony's own timeline.
