PS Plus Premium adds DE-EXIT – Eternal Matters Game Trial

DE-EXIT - Eternal Matters is a game by SandBloom Studio that describes itself as a "cinematic adventure with a hint of stealth."

PlayStation Plus Premium is lowkey a great value subscription.

PS Plus Premium might not feel like it’s worth the extra, well, premium, every month over the Extra tier but the argument is there for you to spend a bit more for it. On top of the smorgasbord of classic PS1, PS2, PS3, PSP, and PSVita titles that are afforded to you by your expensive subscription, PS Plus Premium subscribers get access to free full-game trials. Sure, these trials are limited to a number of hours, but you can technically play through the entirety of a game if you want to and/or know how to. But, realistically speaking, these free trials can help either convince or discourage you from parting with your hard-earned money.

For this month, Sony quietly added another free-game trial for PS Plus Premium subscribers, DE-EXIT Eternal Matters.

DE-EXIT Eternal Matters is a voxel-based indie platformer with beautiful animations billed as a cinematic stealth adventure title that came out earlier this year. It doesn’t jump off the page like, let’s say, God of War, Cyberpunk 2077, The Last of Us Part 1, and Ghostwire: Tokyo, among others, but, at $19.99, it’s worth taking a flier on.

A few minutes into DE-EXIT Eternal Matters should be more than enough for you to decide if it’s for you or not.

PS Plus Premium costs $17.99 a month or $119.99 a year.

Sony recently confirmed the PS Plus Extra lineup for April 2023 and it’s headlined by Kena: Bridge of Spirits, The Evil Within, and Doom Eternal. PS Plus Premium users are getting a handful more games such as Doom, Doom 2, and Dishonored: Definition Edition, among others, were added as well. Finally, the PS Plus Essential April 2023 lineup was confirmed earlier this month.

Speaking of Sony, a U.S. Senator wants to look into Sony and its exclusivity deals for potential anti-competitive practices.
