Sony's streak of impressive additions to the PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium library have come to an end.
March usually heralds the arrival of hard-hitting titles for PS Plus subscribers, even way before the revamp. It's the company's way of encouraging users to resubscribe and up the numbers before the current fiscal year ends. The past few months made it seem like this would happen this year, but that doesn't seem to be the case.
The highlight of the PS Plus Extra lineup for March 2024 is one of the most divisive title titles last year, NBA 2K24.
Despite NBA 2K24's position as the latest entry in the long-running basketball franchise and the excitement surrounding the "Mamba Moments" mode, which commemorates the career highlights of the late Kobe Bryant, it debuted as one of the worst sports sims on Steam and the public reception didn't improve much on other platforms.
If it's any consolation, the PS5 version of NBA 2K24 is miles better compared to the PC, at least graphically.
