Every month, Sony rewards PlayStation Plus subscribers with free games. For the better part of the past year, subscribers have received three freebies each month. The first two are usually available on both the PS4 and the PS5, with the third game being exclusive to the PS5.
Occasionally, the third PS Plus free game will be a brand new PS5 game. This appears to be the case for the PS Plus August 2021 free games lineup.
What are the PS Plus August 2021 free games?
The free games for PS Plus subscribers this August are the following: 2019's Plants vs Zombies: Battle for Neighborville, 2020's Tennis World Tour 2, and Hunter's Arena: Legends.
Similar to Oddworld: Soulstorm, which Sony gave away to PS Plus subscribers when it was launched back in April 2021, PS Plus subscribers will be able to download and play Hunter's Arena: Legends as soon as it launches.
