Invincible first landed on our screens in March 2021 and it didn't take long for us to fall in love with it. The series, based on the superhero comic of the same name, told a story that was both refreshing and unique, not unlike another Prime Video television series, The Boys.
When it ended, we were sad to bid it goodbye and we all hoped that, sooner rather than later, it would be back on our television screens. Prime Video had other plans, though, and for a long time, gave us nothing concrete on the show's return - until now.
It has taken two long years but Invincible is finally coming back to our TV screens. On Friday, Prime Video unveiled a new trailer for Invincible Season 2 as well as its release date at the San Diego Comic-Con.
From the little we can see, the wait will be worth it. The new season will see our protagonist, Mark Grayson, take on many new villains, including a certain Angstrom Levy and The Immortal.
Even though this is good news, Prime Video wasn't about to let us have all the fun. The streamer revealed that only the first four eight episodes of the series will arrive this year with the remaining four episodes slated to arrive early next year.
