A few years back, we would have scoffed at any rumor suggesting that Sony would port its first-party exclusives to the PC. But, in the past few years, this fantasy has started to become a reality. In fact, 9 out of the 10 best-selling first-party PlayStation exclusives are already on the PC or on their way to the said platform.

It all feels like it's only a matter of time before every exclusive game for the PS4 and PS5 is on the PC. Although Sony will probably keep a few exclusives close to its chest if only for a year or two, the fact remains that Sony is not a PlayStation-exclusive company anymore. A piece of new evidence unearthed by data miners also supports this transition.

With Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered finally launching on desktops, dataminers have been busy digging into the game's files. As spotted by VGC, some of them found files referencing a "PlayStation PC launcher," as well as a way to link PSN accounts to the PC ports.

It's also interesting that this new discovery comes shortly after the launch of a dedicated PC Games section on the PlayStation website.
