Raven Software has confirmed the first double XP event dates for both of the latest Call of Duty titles, Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2. As expected, those who play either game on a PS4 or PS5 will get extra perks.
According to the official announcement, the first double XP event date for Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2 will be on December 1 and 2. However, for the PS5 and PS4, the event will start early on November 30.

The most interesting part here is that the double XP event will take place on a Thursday and a Friday (as well as a Wednesday, if you're a PS4 and PS5 owner). Usually, Activision Blizzard schedules these types of events on weekends when player numbers are at their peak.
It will be interesting to see if this is a one-off experiment or if this trend will continue. Perhaps this is an attempt to get the numbers of Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2 to be more consistent all week around.
