Activision Blizzard just dropped a new trailer specifically for the desktop version of Modern Warfare 2 that's coming out on October 28.
The sequel to 2019's Call of Duty: Modern Warfare reboot, the upcoming Call of Duty game will share several similarities with its predecessor and the original 2009 title. But, it will make several improvements as well, specifically on the graphics side.
As per the latest Modern Warfare 2 trailer, the next Call of Duty project is going to support 4K resolution and ultrawide support. The former is a given but the latter is welcome news. However, the main highlight of the trailer is easily the "Ricochet Anti-Cheat" program. After being launched for Warzone and Vanguard last year, Activision is bringing the same anti-cheat software back for Modern Warfare 2.
The usually vocal Call of Duty fans doesn't have a lot of bad things to say about Ricochet. A lot of the criticism is towards the fact that it still lets the occasional cheater slip. With further refinements, Activision could bring the numbers down even further.
