Starbreeze Studios put their money where their mouth is and have finally hunted down the source of the issues that had plagued Payday 3 at launch.

The company CEO, Tobias Sjögren, confirmed this in a new press release, revealing that the most recent set of patches it had applied to Payday 3 have improved matchmaking speeds and stability. In the same statement, Sjögren thanked the community for their patience while acknowledging the game's shortcomings.

Previously, Starbreeze Studios had pinned the blame for the matchmaking problems to a third-party provider, but that didn't help at all as fans flocked to the internet to make their distaste known, review-bombing the game while demanding for a new offline mode.

With Payday 3's initial launch issues now behind it, Starbreeze is now turning its efforts towards improving co-op heist shooter and adding more content.

According to the developers, the studio aims to "improve the game experience" with Payday 3's first post-launch patch sometime in "early October." Afterwards, fans can look forward to a consistent roll out of updates that "address both content, quality-of-life improvements, bug fixes, and new functionality.
