Outriders is one of the biggest releases of 2021 and continues to be popular among gamers despite a troubled launch and persistent bugs. The game hit that weird limbo where, when it worked, it was loved by players and critics alike, but when it didn't work it broke spectacularly.
Publisher Square Enix and developer People Can Fly haven't given up on the game, and the latest major bug fix patch just solved a major issue on Xbox.
While many of the biggest issues related to wiped inventories, crashes and legendary item drop rates have been fixed by the numerous patches released by the developers over the course of the last few months, some issues yet persist. One of the standout bugs affected Xbox players only, where logging into the game was a lottery - and even if you succeeded, you'd be hit with vastly longer loading times than on PC or PlayStation.
The latest patch solves this issue at long last, meaning Xbox players can log into Outriders quicker and more reliably, greatly improving the game experience on the platform. While the Xbox login fix is the highlight of this latest update that went live yesterday, plenty of other bugs have been squashed by the development team alongside it.
