A few weeks ago we covered the news that Alcatraz would be returning to Warzone. The season one roadmap of Black Ops Cold War mentioned a "Warzone Classified Experience," which contained redacted words, with one of the words translating to "Island." This can be extended to "Rebirth Island," also known as Alcatraz Prison Island.

Before Black Ops Cold War release, it was suspected that a Nuke Event would take place in Warzone, transitioning into a new map with the integration of Warzone and Black Ops Cold War when it was released. Since we never got the Nuke Event for the Black Ops Cold War launch, whatever event is planned is certainly going to be in early 2021.
Recent leaks have further solidified our beliefs that Alcatraz may very well be returning to Warzone, along with the long-awaited Nuke Event. A renowned data miner named CODColdWarNewz (on Twitter) recently leaked calling cards, emblems, and icons associated with the Nuke Event and the Rebirth Island.
Alcatraz, or Rebirth Island, was a bio-weapons testing site during the 20th century. The players visit the same island in Black Ops 1 during a mission called 'Rebirth.' There, scientists studied and manufactured lethal diseases such as a lethal bio-weapon called Nova 6 gas in Black Ops 1.
