We might see a Nintendo Direct showcase before June ends

If we do see Nintendo hold an event before the month ends, it's near-impossible for Breath of the Wild 2 not to be included even if it's the same trailer from previous showcases albeit with a handful of new snippets. We're also hoping for a Metroid Prime 4 appearance after an update in February. Metroid fans have been waiting for Metroid Prime 4 news for years and the least that Nintendo can do is to give Samus Aran's next outing some screentime.

Of course, with Dying Light 2's Switch version delayed to later this year, it's a lock that we'll see Techland's open-world zombie sequel. Other games that might be at the unannounced Nintendo Direct in late June are Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes, Xenoblade Chronicles 3, as well as Splatoon 3 and Bayonetta 3, which still does not have a release date.

Since we're talking hypotheticals here, we might as well throw the Switch Pro out there while we're at it. Even if Nintendo just released the Nintendo Switch OLED less than a year ago, many fans still believe that a more powerful Switch is on the docket. We're not holding our breaths for an announcement of the long-rumored Switch Pro soon, but we wouldn't be surprised either.
