Between Summer Game Fest 2021 and E3 2021, as well as the dozens of other reveals in between, before, and after, it can be easy to miss out on a couple of announcements. In particular, when it's about games that have already been available for a few years. But, as entertaining as it is to look forward to future titles, we shouldn't just forget about updates to games that we can enjoy right now.

Speaking of, did you know that the next-gen Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order update is confirmed already?

Next-gen Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order Is Available Now

Respawn Entertainment's Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order was released in 2019 with mostly positive reviews.

Audiences and critics alike loved Respawn's take on the Star Wars franchise. The game obviously drew inspiration from the likes of Dark Souls (for its combat), Uncharted (for its exploration), and Metroidvania games (with all the backtracking). However, it's been two years since, and we've heard nothing about a sequel outside of leaks.

If it's any consolation though, the next-gen Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is a substantial upgrade that lets the 2019 Star Wars title harness the power of the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series S/X.
