New Square Enix Presents Showcase Announced for March 18

Interested audiences will be able to watch the show on Square Enix's very own show page, as well as their official Twitch and YouTube channels. The first-ever Square Enix Presents showcase will have an estimated 40-minute run time. This will make it one of the longest showcases to air this year. Square Enix also isn't shy of telling audiences what to expect from it.

Highlighting the event is the world premiere of the next game in the critically acclaimed Life is Strange series of titles. Square Enix did not say much about the new title. However, they did confirm that it will feature "an all-new protagonist with a strange new power".

Another new title that will be shown off at the event is BALAN WONDERLORD, a "weird and wonderful platformer" that's set to launch on March 26. The event will also include details on a new Just Cause mobile game.

Speaking of, fans can also expect info on new mobile games from Square Enix Montreal and "some delightful titles" from TAITO, a sister company of Square Enix.

The event will also commemorate the 25th Anniversary of the Tomb Raider franchise. It's worth noting that a compilation of the most recent trilogy wasleaked on the Microsoft Store. It is possible that the compilation will be officially unveiled at the event, among other details.

Other games that will be part of the Square Enix Presents event on March 18 include Outriders and Marvel's Avengers. With that said, we're not dismissing the possibility that Square Enix is intentionally doing this to keep gamers guessing. At the same time, it is also possible that Square Enix doesn't plan on including any Final Fantasy title for the event.

If it's any consolation, Final Fantasy fans shouldn't be left wanting for more anyway.

While Square Enix has remained mum about the Final Fantasy VII Remake Part 2, the first part will receive a PS5 port with enhancements soon.
