Konami has teased that it will announce a new game from a series "loved by fans around the world" at TGS. Konami is slated for a 45-minute presentation at the Tokyo Game Show.
Silent Hill is one such beloved franchise and has been a fan favorite game since its introduction in 1999. The survival horror game hasn't had a proper entry since 2012's Silent Hill: Downpour.
There have been rumors that Konami has big plans for the Silent Hill franchise with multiple games being developed. Reports say that a remake of Silent Hill 2 is already being worked on and there will be a new episodic entry to the franchise.
VGC editor Andy Robinson tweeted that his report on Konami's planned Silent Hill announcement may not be accurate. He said that the "Silent Hill reveal may be sooner the I suggested."
