343 hasn’t even released Halo Infinite yet, but you’d think that it was already out. Well, technically, it is. 343 decided to give Halo fans an early Christmas present by making the game’s free-to-play multiplayer available earlier this month. However, as much fun as players are having right now, 343 isn’t forgetting the game’s main draw – the campaign. In the lead-up to the game’s actual release, 343 is going all-in on the marketing.

For its latest effort, the studio behind the latest Halo game decided to take things up a notch and dropped a hype-inducing CGI trailer reminiscent of Halo games of the past.

Are you ready to step into the shoes of Master Chief again?

It appears that 343 is intent on making up for delaying Halo Infinite for more than one year.

343’s latest trailer for Halo Infinite concentrates more on Master Chief’s upcoming duel against the Banished. But, what makes this one unique is that the trailer is, more or less, just a way to showcase Master Chief’s prowess as a fighter. It’s setting the right kind of tone and atmosphere for Halo Infinite, which is incredibly important after 343 delayed it for over a year.

The latest Halo Infinite CGI trailer is everything good about the Halo franchise all encapsulated in a few minutes of footage.

With that said, it will be interesting to see if 343 can live up to their earlier promise. The studio confirmed that Halo Infinite will bring back the franchise to its roots. Considering that 343 was probably talking about Bungie’s time as the developers of the Halo games, this is no easy task. So far though, 343 has proven itself capable of meeting expectations and we expect no less from Halo Infinite on December 8.

In the meantime, you can keep yourself busy with Halo Infinite’s multiplayer. While beloved by many, Halo Infinite’s multiplayer is not perfect. In particular, fans are complaining about the exploitative Battle Pass and it hasn’t improved much yet despite 343’s promises. On top of this all, cheaters are currently flocking towards Halo Infinite as it is free-to-play.
