The pandemonium is real, Vault Hunters! Brace yourselves for a loot-splosion because Gearbox and 2K just kicked open the vault to a treasure trove of Borderlands content. There's enough here to make Claptrap do a happy dance - which is saying a lot.

First, let's get down to the nitty-gritty. Gearbox tweeted out that Borderlands 3 Ultimate Edition is the hitting Nintendo Switch on October 6, confirming leaks from late last year.

The flagship, anarchic, first-person loot-shooter is making its way to Nintendo's handheld for the first time, and you can pre-order your physical copies right now. Priced at $59.99, this new edition is a lot more loaded than Mr. Torgue's rocket launchers. It includes the base game, Moxxi's Heist of the Handsome Jackpot, Guns, Love, and Tentacles: The Marriage of Wainwright & Hammerlock, Bounty of Blood, Psycho Krieg and the Fantastic Fustercluck, Designer's Cut, Director's Cut, and over 30 cosmetic items to bedazzle your Vault Hunter. Just a heads up for Switch players, though - unlike its console and PC counterparts that support up to 4-player co-op, the Switch version will be limited to 2-player co-op both locally and online. It's safe to presume that it won't have cross-play.

And if you're someone who thinks one Borderlands game is never enough - hold onto your skag pups! Gearbox and 2K have you covered with Borderlands Collection: Pandora's Box. This Herculean bundle squeezes in all six of the games: Borderlands, Borderlands 2, Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel, Tales from the Borderlands, Borderlands 3, and New Tales from the Borderlands, along with all their respective DLC.
