Is NetherRealm Studios working on a new Mortal Kombat or Injustice installment? If you ask Ed Boon, the studio is nowhere near close to being ready to announce either.

According to the now-infamous Nvidia GeForce Now leak, NRS should've let us know about the new Mortal Kombat and Injustice games by now. Specifically, the leak suggests Injustice 3: Gods Will Fall will be out by January 3. Meanwhile, Mortal Kombat 12 supposedly has an April 3 launch date.

However, we know by now that, while the info contained in the leak is legit, studios often shuffle the release dates around. For example, the PC port of Returnal hasn't been confirmed yet although it's only a matter of time before it's out. The same goes for the PC port of Ghost of Tsushima.

Still, both titles are scheduled to come out by 2023, so it stands to reason that we should've heard about them by now. After all, NetherRealm Studios revealed Mortal Kombat 11 at The Game Awards in 2018 and it was out by April of the next year.
