Netflix's take on Resident Evil is coming soon.
After much anticipation, Netflix confirmed back in March that the live-action Resident Evil show will premiere on July 14 before dropping its first trailer in May.
With only a few weeks to go, the streaming giant dropped new footage at this year's Netflix Geeked Week. Although we knew already that Resident Evil will feature the undead as well as the unloving man's best friend, the latest trailer showed that it will also have gargantuan spiders and what appears to be a giant caterpillar.
Netflix's Resident Evil series will follow Ella Balinska's Jade Wesker as she tries to survive in a world fraught with peril and danger. As the daughter of Lance Reddick's Albert Wesker, the show's protagonist will also have to face her past while also putting the pieces together to find out what happened to her sister.
In addition to Reddick and Balinska, the debut season of Resident Evil will also feature Paolo Nunez, Siena Agudong, Tamara Smart, and Adeline Rudolph, among others.
