Naughty Dog is working on "multiple game projects" right now

Unfortunately, Druckmann did not disclose anything further. However, his statement does line up with the leak about Naughty Dog's plans a year ago.

Druckmann tweeted Naughty Dog has "several cool things" that he can't just wait to share with fans last year. There were rumors about what the studio was working on around the same time as well. We eventually found out that one of them was Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection, which is slated to release in February. Naughty Dog has yet to confirm the other two: a new IP, Stray's Cross, and a massive expansion for The Last of Us Part II.

In addition to this, the leak revealed that Stray's Cross was going to be compatible with PSVR 2. Now that Sony has officially revealed the PSVR's successor, it feels like it's only a matter of time before Naughty Dog confirms Stray's Cross. What's next for Naughty Dog? Naughty Dog is arguably PlayStation Studios' flagship developers.

As for what else Naughty Dog could have in the cards, we've heard plenty from the grapevine with zero confirmation. On top of the aforementioned leak, Bloomberg reported back in April 2021 that Naughty Dog was working on a remake of The Last of Us for the PS5. Meanwhile, in August 2021, dataminers found information about The Last of Us Part II's multiplayer mode.

At the end of the day, only Naughty Dog knows what it's working on. All fans can do is wait for official information or watch out for leaks.

In the meantime, fans can keep themselves busy with the live-action adaptation of Uncharted. The latest clip from the upcoming movie features a cargo plane sequence that pays homage to the source material. Uncharted is expected to release in theaters on February 18, 2022. There's also The Last of Us TV series to look forward to, which HBO released a teaser for back in September 2021.
