The Man of Steel is one of the most beloved comic characters, and this is evident in the sheer volume of Superman adaptations that exist. Last week, a new animated television series joined the fray from the stables of Studio Mir, and a second season has already been confirmed.
The animated series, titled My Adventures with Superman, was an instant hit with both critics and audiences. It has a Rotten Tomatoes critics' approval rating of 100%. On the same platform, the show has an 85% audience approval rating.
Not many series can boast of such high ratings on both fronts. Because of this, it would have been weird if Warner Bros. did not renew the show for at least one more season. Of course, there is no longer any danger of that, and the show will have a second season.
On Saturday, the show's creator, Jake Wyatt, confirmed that the fast-rising animated television series will have another season. Wyatt gave up this tidbit on Twitter when a fan asked, "Is it safe to say we'll have a second season?
Wyatt's response was enthusiastic, although short. He said, "Yep, they ordered two!" to the fan's question and the relief of fans like us who waited with bated breath. Since two seasons were the original expectation, some fans hope the show's success will reach further.
