Technically, Mortal Kombat 12is already confirmed. Warner Bros. Discovery CEO and President, David Zaslav, made sure of this earlier this year when he confirmed that both Mortal Kombat 12 and the much-maligned Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League sometime this year.
But, while Zaslav's recent statement is as official as can get, fans are still hoping to get a different and more hype-worthy announcement.
As per SonicFox, it might come sooner than you think.
According to the professional esports player who specializes in fighting games, they're expecting the announcement to come sometime next week.
Their tweet was from April 8, so we can only assume that he meant anytime between April 10 and 17.
