March hasn't even ended yet and Capcom just gave Monster Hunter fans their biggest piece of news in a while. Almost one year after Monster Hunter Rise hit Nintendo Switch consoles everywhere and two months after the game arrived on PC, Capcom went ahead and hosted a live-streamed presentation revealing everything there is to know about the game's Sunbreak expansion.
According to Capcom, Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak will be available starting on June 30, 2022. Although Capcom did not reveal the downloadable content's price at the event, the company posted those details online later on.
At $39.99, Sunbreak costs as much as the Iceborne expansion for Monster Hunter: World, which added some 50 hours' worth of content to Monster Hunter: World. If you're looking to splurge, Capcom revealed that Sunbreak will be available in two more expensive versions: the Deluxe Edition and the Collector's Edition. The Deluxe Edition will come with additional content like layered armor sets, gestures, and hairstyles for $49.99. Meanwhile, the physical-only Sunbreak edition will include everything from the Deluxe Edition as well as exclusive items like a Malzeno amiibo, a steelbook case, a pin, and a sticker pack, all for $99.99.
