As the impossible mission unfolds, Ethan Hunt and his band of misfits find themselves in a relentless chase, constantly trying to catch up with the ever-elusive enemy that they barely understand.
To be fair, no one really gets what this amorphous, sentient villain is exactly. And on top of that, there are two skeleton keys that everyone wants to get their hands on that act as some sort of MacGuffin to access the system.
