Microsoft secures another cloud-gaming deal following CMA block

Microsoft has reiterated several times before that all it wants to do is to make games available for everyone around the world.

Ultimately, now that the CMA has decided to block the deal, we're expecting Microsoft and Activision Blizzard to continue sniping at the regulatory bodies that denied them the opportunity to merge with each other. It's believed that the decision has delayed the proposed acquisition for at least a year, with some naysayers calling the deal dead in the water already.

Microsoft's gaming arm, Xbox, is expected to launch at least three big exclusives later this year: Redfall, Forza Motorsport, and Starfield.
