The DC Universe's Elseworlds universe is about to grow further soon. After Joker and The Batman laid down their roots on the big screen, the first TV spin-off finally has a positive update - more than a year it was officially confirmed.

Arguably the most anticipated TV show based on a DC Comics character in a while, The Penguin, sees Collin Farrell reprise his role as Oswald Cobblepot, better known as The Penguin.

Although the ongoing Writers Guild of America strike has put the series' production on hold indefinitely, Max, the newly-renamed platform set to host the series, has updated the landing page with the official logo for The Penguin.

Designed in the same stylish aesthetic as the logo for The Batman, it serves as a visual testament to the interconnectedness of these DC Comics projects. The decision to align The Penguin with the atmospheric and gritty world of The Batman, as per the visual similarities between the logos, underscores the series' ambitions. This move highlights how much the spinoff series will further explore the shadowy, red-soaked world of Gotham City, offering a fresh narrative canvas while remaining true to the original material.
