Good news for the N7 fans out there. While no one ever doubted that Mass Effect Legendary Edition was going to release soon, the fact that the game has officially gone gold means that there won't be any unforeseen delays anymore.

With that said, players who've been waiting for the Mass Effect trilogy remaster can finally play the game next month. What Happens If Mass Effect Legendary Edition Goes Gold? https://twitter.com/macwalterslives/status/1380636600921563143

Within the video game industry, a game going gold is a significant milestone. It basically means that there is already a master disc available containing the entire game ready for reproduction. This all but guarantees that a game is going to release at the specified release date.

The good news was officially confirmed by Mass Effect Legendary Edition Project Director, Mac Walters.

While the Mass Effect Legendary Edition is not a total remake of the first three games of the Mass Effect franchise, it is a significant improvement. It's not just a full-on remaster that improves on the visuals either. Rather, the remaster is a complete package that adds all the previous DLC from the first three games.

What this means is that, those players who missed out the numerous DLC adventures like the Lair of the Shadow Broker (Mass Effect 2) and From Ashes (Mass Effect 3) can finally get a chance to see what the hype was all about without having to pay extra.

Considering that the original trilogy of games saw a total of more than 40 DLC titles throughout its run, including nearly all of them in a single package is a big deal.
