There's a short list of first-party Sony studio games that hasn't done wrong yet and Insomniac Games is on top. If it isn't Sony's most impactful acquisition ever, it's close to it, especially after what it has shown in recent years. The studio has proven many times over that it can churn out hits in quick succession. So, while Marvel's Spider-Man 2 has barely been released, you can't blame fans for looking into the future already. It doesn't help that the developers are already talking about a potential Venom spin-off. But, if you ask Yuri Lowenthal, the voice and motion capture actor of Spider-Man and Peter Parker in Marvel's Spider-Man 2, there's someone we haven't seen yet that he'd like to appear in an eventual sequel.

In an interview with ComicBook.com ahead of Marvel's Spider-Man 2's launch, Lowenthal talked about the inclusion of one of Spider-Man's best buddies in the comic books, Deadpool, saying: I mean, there are so many ways they could go with a third game. I'm assuming, at this point nobody's had me sign a contract for a third game, but I'm assuming there will be a third game.

Many have even called Deadpool as an edgier and more sadistic version of Spider-Man.

Look, here's something I've been pitching for a long time, and I don't know if they're going to do it, but I love the Spidey-Pool relationship. I love Deadpool and Spider-Man. As much as I talk about Moon Knight in this universe, and Bryan Intihar is tired of me talking about that, I've been hard-pitching, 'Wouldn't it be great if Nolan North and I got to play in that?' And so I would love to see that. I'd love to see Deadpool and Spidey in this. Is it going to happen? Probably not. Do they listen to me? Mostly not. But that is a relationship I would love to see explored in games. Many have even called Deadpool as an edgier and more sadistic version of Spider-Man.
