Fans have been wondering whether the next big superhero video game outing, Marvel's Blade, will be a Microsoft exclusive ever since it was announced at The Game Awards. While many gamers hope that the game will be available on other platforms, Microsoft may already have decided on the title's availability - and their decision might not be embracing cross platform play.

As shared on the Gamer News subreddit, Microsoft recently updated the trailer for Marvel's Blade just a week ago. The change includes the addition of the Xbox logo which wasn't there when the game was revealed during the awards show.

User TheLostQuest suggests that the addition of the logo hints that Blade will be a Microsoft-exclusive title. Microsoft owns Arkane Lyon, which is developing the Blade project. The studio became part of Xbox Game Studios when Microsoft purchased ZeniMax Media in 2021.

The expected exclusivity of Marvel's Blade will not be a surprise for many gamers. The community views the game as Microsoft's answer to Marvel's Spider-Man, which has been a very successful franchise for Sony. Spider-Man developer Insomniac Games is also working on a Wolverine title which is expected to arrive in 2025.
