During the recent Star Wars Celebration held at the ExCeL Centre in London, Lucasfilm unveiled a new trailer for the fifth installment of the Indiana Jones franchise.+

At just a little over two minutes long, the new trailer is the first full-length trailer of the film. It opens with the titular hero, played by Harrison Ford, walking into a gathering by what we assume are his co-workers screaming surprise and handing him gifts. Then, it shows him at a bar informing his goddaughter of his intention to retire before they order drinks from the bartender.

The trailer then shows Jones and his goddaughter on the hunt for the mystical dial of destiny amidst flashbacks of Jones that uses de-aging technology to make Ford appear much younger than his 80 years. It also shows Mads Mikkelsen in his role as the villainous character Voller who is also after the dial of destiny like Jones and his goddaughter.

The film leans heavily on nostalgia with scenes that bring back memories of previous films in the franchise as well as John Williams's familiar theme song. Nevertheless, it holds promises of action and adventure that is sure to drive audiences to the theaters when it debuts.
