Square Enix has released three live-action commercials for Final Fantasy XIV, to promote its free trial offer, a month after releasing an anime-style trailer for the game.
In the commercials, we see three jobs, The Dragoon, Black Mage, and Dark Knight. The Dragoon is depicted by Estinien, the Azure Dragoon, a recurrent character in the Heavensward expansion which promises to lend his spear more often in the next expansion, Endwalker.
We also get a glimpse of various daily routines along with a woman promoting and listing reasons why people should try Final Fantasy XIV and enjoy its extensive free trial. For the trial, players can freely play until their character hits level 60, as well as go through the content to Heavensward, which is the first expansion pack, without having to pay for a subscription.
Although the free trial blocks certain content, like inviting others to a party (you can still be invited by someone who is a paying subscriber) or joining a Free Company (the game´s guild system), it is still a great way to experience a little of the world of Final Fantasy XIV.
