The Avengers, Marvel's premiere superhero squad and highlight of the on-going MCU, is getting the LEGO treatment - again. A new LEGO Marvel special featuring the team facing off a new threat is coming to Disney+ at the end of next month.

Marvel officially announced that LEGO Marvel Avengers: Code Red is coming to the streaming platform. The special was first revealed during the San Diego Comic-Con earlier this year and now has a release date. According to the announcement on X, Code Red is coming to Disney+ on October 27th.

Details for the upcoming LEGO Marvel special are scarce at this point. Marvel has not revealed the characters, cast members, and plot details for Code Red. However, given that previous LEGO Marvel specials had a runtime of about half an hour, it would be reasonable to expect the upcoming movie will not be a full length feature film.

The official poster for the upcoming project is a LEGO brick version of the MCU Avengers: Endgame. The only difference is that the color of the Avengers logo in the upcoming project is red as opposed to the metallic purple of Endgame. The Avengers logo is seemingly disintegrating too just like in the movie it takes inspiration from.

LEGO Marvel Avengers: Code Red will not be canon to the MCU like previous projects. It may feature some of the most popular Avengers characters that are no longer part of the MCU like Tony Stark aka Iron Man and Steve Rogers' Captain America. However, we do not expect Robert Downey Jr. or Chris Evans to lend their voices to the upcoming special if their character makes an appearance.
