The ever-reliable leaker, Billbil-kun, has struck again. As per the usual, the Dealabs user has just brought us info on the PS Plus Essential lineup for next month, January, ahead of when Sony will be revealing it. Usually, the console manufacturer doesn't let us know about next month's free games until the last Wednesday of the current month. In this case, we won't get official details about the January 2023 PS Plus lineup until December 28, Wednesday. But, because of the recent leak, we know which games are coming our way in two weeks.
According to Billbil-kun, the PS Plus January 2023 lineup are the following: Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order Fallout 76 Axiom Verge 2 Axiom Verge 2's arrival on the PS Plus is a surprise considering that it only came out earlier this year.
The obvious headliner is Respawn Entertainment's hit 2019 title, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. It's easily considered one of the best Star Wars games of all time and, more importantly, it's going to get a sequel, Jedi Survivor, in March. Bringing Fallen Order to PS Plus Essential in a few weeks feels like a premeditated move to help hype Cal Kestis' return.
