John Carpenter is a popular name in the horror movie industry. The iconic filmmaker, actor, and composer has worked on many horror movies since the late '70s. If you are a fan of the horror genre, you will have come across some of his works, such as Escape from New York (1981), Escape from L.A. (1996), and The Ward (2010).

Now, almost fifty years into his illustrious career, Carpenter has created a horror video game, titled John Carpenter's Toxic Commando – the first time he will working on such a project.

We first heard about the game at the Summer Games Fest livestream on Thursday where its developers, Saber Interactive and Focus Home Entertainment, unveiled a trailer that does justice to Carpenter's legacy.

Toxic Commando is one of several thrilling announcements that were made at Summer Game Fest, which includes anew adventure game from Bandai Namco, Lies of P's release date, and Kazuma Kiryu's return in Like a Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name.
