The Invisible Man was released back in 2020 and was well-received by critics and fans. The movie was also a commercial success and won awards from various award-giving bodies. Fans have asked for a movie sequel since it was released. After more than two years, Jason Blum, the film's producer, gives fans a promising update about the movie.
The founder of Blumhouse Productions recently spoke with The Hollywood Reporter about the sequel revealing that he wants to collaborate with director James Wan to make The Invisible Man 2 a reality.
"Well, it's a great question," Blum replied after being asked about the sequel. "I think we mostly hold me accountable, but hopefully, should our dreams come true and our two companies get to work together, maybe James will help me solve that problem."
James Wan is open to collaborating with Blum on the sequel. "I'd be more than happy to," Wan said. The director may not be working on another project after The Conjuring spin-off The Crooked Man was canceled.
