Blumhouse confirms The Black Phone 2 for 2025

The Black Phone follows a 13-year-old boy named Finney who is kidnapped by the murderer, The Grabber. Following his abduction, he is imprisoned in a soundproof basement with no means of calling for help. However, he discovers a disconnected telephone that changes his life.

When the phone starts to ring, Finney will discover he is the latest in a long line of The Grabber's victims However, the ghosts of the other victims want to help Finney and ensure he avoids the fate that befell them.

While fans eagerly anticipate the sequel, both Universal and Blumhouse have remained tight-lipped, leaving enthusiasts with a host of unanswered questions. Will the franchise follow Finney's journey further, or introduce a new cast of characters? Will the original villain resurface, or will a new sinister force take the stage?
