The DC Universe has had a massive shakeup starting with the appointment of James Gunn and Peter Safran as co-CEOs of DC Studios. The duo has started working on their vision for the franchise with an eight to ten-year plan.

The co-CEOs recently unveiled the first part of their new slate of projects. Chapter 1: Gods and Monsters announced five movies and TV shows coming to the DCU. However, the projects that have been announced are just the tip of the iceberg, with Gunn teasing that more are coming.

Gunn has been interacting a lot with fans on social media lately. In a recent engagement on Twitter, one fan asked how much of Chapter 1 has been revealed. Gunn replied, "Less than half."

It's expected that more projects are coming to the DCU with at least one more chapter planned within the next ten years and a minimum of two to three movies annually. It's safe to say that the DCU is going to get around five to ten more movies and shows for its first chapter if we hold Gunn to his word.
