James Gunn, the new co-CEO of DC Studios, has confirmed he'll work with the two-time Academy Award nominee Margot Robbie in his new-look DC Cinematic Universe.
Gunn made this revelation on Twitter with a straightforward "For sure." in response to a fan who asked if he will work with Robbie again. However, despite Gunn's confirmation that Robbie will have a place in the new DC Universe, he didn't say if she'll be in her old role or as a new character.
Gunn previously directed the Australian actress in the 2021 film The Suicide Squad, where she reprised her role as Harley Quinn from the DCEU projects she previously starred in.
Since coming on as the heads of DC Studios, Gunn and his co-chair, Peter Safran, have let go of several actors that starred in the erstwhile DC Extended Universe, including Dwayne Johnson and Henry Cavill, hence the fan's question on whether he will still work with her.
The list of sacked actors also includes Jason Momoa who will leave his role as Aquaman, although there are reports he could return to the franchise as another character.
