For a while there, it looked like Apple TV+'s massive investment in The Morning Show would not pay off. Critics were not kind to the Apple TV+ show that had an ensemble cast headlined by Reese Witherspoon and Jennifer Aniston.
As it turns out, the TV show was more of a slow burn. After the first few episodes aired, critics started changing their tune. Although no one doubted the talent of its cast and production value, the Apple TV+ standard-bearer eventually turned things around in terms of its narrative.
Now that Season 2 has aired, it appears that most critics are loving The Morning Show more.
What's new in The Morning Show Season 2?
Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon both returned to reprise their roles as Alex Levy and Bradley Jackson in Season 2. Other returning cast members include Steve Carell as Mitch Kessler, Billy Crudup as Cory Ellison, Mark Duplass as Charlie "Chip" Black, and Karen Pittman as Mia Jordan.
