Hitman 3 is one of the better stealth games that recently came out and it received extensive support from IO Interactive following its launch. Now, the third game in the trilogy is being repackaged to include the previous two titles.
IO Interactive has announced in a blog post that Hitman 3 will be renamed Hitman: World of Assassination. It will be the only modern Hitman title available for purchase as the first two games have been removed from storefronts.
World of Assassination will cost $70 which seems a bit steep. However, the repackaged game will also include the previous two titles. Hitman 1 Game of the Year Access Pass and Hitman 2 Standard Access Pass will be part of the World of Assassination base game.
Essentially, these two changes will mean that all new players and existing HITMAN 3 owners will have the same base content ownership," IO said about the rebranding of Hitman 3. "There will be no more confusion over which edition to buy, what content you own, how to redeem Legacy packs or import locations, etc. We're done with that."
