The last time we had a Nintendo Direct presentation was in February. This means that we're long overdue for Nintendo's usual showcase.
In the last Nintendo Direct, we got news of No Man's Sky for the Switch as well as the pair of Valve's Portal games and a release date for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. Since then, Switch owners have waited for more news from Nintendo with another Direct event. If we believe the rumors, we won't have to wait for long for the next one.
Giant Bomb reporter, Jeff Grubb, said during one of his podcasts that the event is "100% there's a Nintendo Direct in September, it's that simple.
Grubb together with GamesBeat managing editor Mike Minotti discussed the Nintendo Direct presentation at length during the Last of the Nintendogs podcast. Both Grubb and Minotti expressed their confidence that Nintendo will have something up its sleeve in September. Zelda Blowout Twilight Princess is coming to Switch according to rumors.
